Americans are interested in prioritizing live entertainment and ticketed events this year. Over 60% of Americans polled in a new study from Allianz Partners USA plan on going to at least one ticketed event by the end of 2023, up 3 percentage points from 2022 and up 8 points from 2021. One-fifth are expected to attend 3 or more events this year. Over 50% will be attending a live concert, festival or performing arts event while 46% surveyed will attend their favorite sporting teams, which is the same amount as last year but up 3 points from 2021.

U.S. adults, ages 18-34, are involved the most in live entertainments. Over three-fourths plan to attend at least one ticketed event in 2023, which is up two points from last year. Increases in age corresponds with attendance decreasing according to the survey.
