Labor Day Weekend is the last big weekend of summer for many people. This year, over half of Americans plan to travel over the holiday weekend. The Vacationer’s Labor Day 2022 Travel Survey revealed that over 53% of adults in the United States plan to travel over the upcoming long weekend. Ninety-two million Americans will travel by car and 37 million plan to travel via plane. Flight data is estimating that more will travel by plane over Labor Day than did for either Memorial Day or the Fourth of July.

Twenty-six percent of Americans will remain within 100 miles of their home; 13% will remain within 250 miles. Over half of respondents mentioned that fuel prices will have an impact on their holiday travel plans.
