The rollout of COVID-19 vaccines is giving many government officials across the world a new confidence to reopen borders and welcome visitors in order to revive their tourism-reliant economies. “Summer is a strong season for most markets, particularly Europe and the U.K. We really hope to see restrictions ease,” said Virginia Messina, interim leader of the World Travel & Tourism Council. See how different regions are trying to reopen travel this summer by clicking here.
