Rovio Entertainment Corporation, makers of the mobile game Angry Birds, and Kilburn Live global family entertainment are collaborating to create a new comedy show with popular characters from the game. Characters Red, Silver, and Leonard will make their way through adventures in a world of challenges that will frustrate them. Audience members will be involved in the production by catapulting objects towards the stage. 

James Johnston and Bennet Yellin are the writers for the production. In their past they have written hit films such as “Dumb and Dumber” and “Stuck on You.” Hanna Valkeapaa-Nokkala, senior director at Rovio Entertainment, says, “We always want to give fans and audiences new ways to experience and interact with the brand, and ‘Angry Birds Live: The Slingshot Adventure’ is a completely new, innovative, and exciting way of doing that.”
