With travel restrictions easing and infection rates settling, you might be finally thinking about taking a vacation. But while you may finally have your ducks all in a row, the travel industry certainly doesn’t. As many travelers make plans to travel this summer, experts are predicting a summer of travel chaos.

The main reason for the chaos is the aviation sector of the travel industry. Despite skyrocketing prices, Americans are ready to travel. So much so that airlines are struggling to keep up with the demand. Airlines simply do not have the infrastructure to respond to the demand, resulting in leaner schedules and cancellations. Those that don’t fall victim to flight cancellations will still need to battle rental car shortages and a variety of other setbacks that are a result of staffing and supply shortages.
