Disneyland recently revealed its new “Magic Key” annual pass program, a four-tier admissions program formed and shaped by extensive consumer research and feedback from Disneyland Resort guests. The program is similar to the park’s old annual pass program, but offers a range of benefits including merchandise, dining and parking discounts. Passes range in price from $399 to $1,399 with monthly payment options available for Southern California residents.

The park suspended its annual pass program upon reopening after an extended, pandemic-related closure, forcing park regulars to stand in line for up to seven or eight hours to buy daily admission tickets. This demand has been transferred to the new “Magic Key” annual pass system, with online sales taking more than an hour, sometimes multiple hours, to complete. (USA Today, 08.25.21)
