What’s Worrying Travelers Most Right Now

While COVID-19 infection has been the primary concern for travelers for the past year and a half, the pandemic has given rise to other obstacles and concerns indirectly – including travel costs, staffing shortages, fluctuating restrictions and the need to locate and schedule testing upon arrival to certain destinations. Understandably, these concerns have led to some common anxieties among travelers, especially heading into the busy holiday season.

A new survey conducted by TripIt revealed the factors weighing the most heavily on American travelers’ minds at this point in the pandemic. The top three factors were overcrowding and long lines (39%)staying up-to-date on travel restrictions (36%) and unruly fellow passengers (29%). Scheduling a COVID-19 test appeared to be the least worrisome factor for traveling (13%).
